Carrots, Carrots, Carrots!

Yesterday I had a carrot based lunch.

Organic baby carrots + Carrot Cake Clif Bar :-)

It was my first time trying the Carrot Cake flavor and I thought it was pretty good but just a tad bit too sweet.

Would have been good paired with oatmeal!

Sammy and I shared the carrots.  We ended up eating almost the entire bag!

Woah!

I didn’t think that he would even like the carrots but he did.  Of course I had to cut it up into small pieces for him :-) .

I also posted some Operation Beautiful notes up in the office building elevator.

Hope I don’t get fined!

Did you smile today? :-)

Well, this car made me smile.

So ingenious!

Anyways this morning while I was jogging,  I saw a small fluffy dog with no collar wandering on the street.  I didn’t have my phone so I couldn’t call anyone to help me.  All I could do was follow it and make sure it didn’t go into the street and get hit by a car.

Luckily, the dog owner was out looking for it and there was a happy ending :-) .  I did however scrape my hand while kneeling on the sidewalk trying to get the dog’s attention :-( .

Warning: graphic picture ahead!

Ouch!

Have you ever helped a lost animal? What did you do in the situation?

  1. I’ve not helped a lost animal, but I don’t think I’ve run across any.

If I can help it, I like to stock up on carrots from Costco. A huge bag for like under $4 that we end up juicing for a week or two!

  2. Awww this is so nice of you to help the dog!

I once saw a dog running down the highway so I started chasing it so it wouldn’t get run over and I saved it. I felt so good after helping like that!

    xxoo

  3. That poor dog must have been terrified! And you must have been too. Sorry about your hand but what a sweet thing to do. :)
